2026 Northeast Florida Fall Farms, Pumpkin Patches & Farm Experiences

Fall in Northeast Florida may not come with crisp 50-degree afternoons and changing leaves, but that doesn’t mean we skip fall altogether. Around here, fall looks more like wandering through a corn maze in shorts, picking a pumpkin straight from the vine, walking through sunflower fields, taking a hayride and hoping the evening temperature finally dips below 75.

And honestly, there are some pretty great farms and fall experiences tucked throughout Northeast Florida.

Whether you’re looking for a full day on the farm, a pumpkin patch for the kids, somewhere to take fall photos, a date-night-worthy farm experience or simply an excuse to get outside, here are some of the farms, pumpkin patches and fall events worth checking out in 2026.

Event dates, hours and activities can change, especially those dependent on crops and weather, so always check with the farm or event organizer before heading out.

FALL ON THE FARM: CORN MAZES, PUMPKINS & FARM EXPERIENCES

Wesley Wells Farms | St. Augustine

Pumpkin Festival + Handmade Market: September 26, 2026 | 9 a.m.–4 p.m.

This one kicks off fall right here in St. Augustine. Wesley Wells Farms grows its own pumpkins, which means you can actually head into the field and pick a pumpkin from the vine rather than choosing one that was shipped into a traditional pumpkin patch.

Their annual Pumpkin Festival + Handmade Market includes you-pick pumpkins, vegetables and flowers, farm animals, live entertainment, food trucks, photo opportunities, handmade vendors and a large kids' area with farm-style activities.

If you enjoy shopping local along with your fall fun, the handmade market makes this one especially worth putting on the calendar. Wesley Wells is also offering Pumpkin Patch Saturdays and other farm events throughout the fall season.

Sykes Family Farms | Elkton

Crop Maze: October 3–November 1, 2026

If you've lived around St. Augustine for a while, there's a good chance Sykes Family Farms is already part of your fall traditions.

Their nine-acre crop maze is the star of the show, but there's much more to do once you're there. Hayrides, farm animals, a cow train, duck races, kids' play areas, a cow-milking station, pumpkins and fresh produce turn this into a full farm outing rather than just a quick stop for a pumpkin.

One fun option is visiting the maze after dark on Friday or Saturday nights. Just remember to bring a flashlight or glow stick for your group.

2026 Hours: Fridays 6–10 p.m., Saturdays 10 a.m.–10 p.m. and Sundays 10 a.m.–5 p.m.

Amazing Grace Family Farms | Green Cove Springs

Jacksonville Pumpkin Festival begins October 2, 2026

Amazing Grace is another farm where you could easily spend several hours. Their fall season combines a pumpkin patch with sunflower and zinnia fields, a crop maze, farm animals, a corn crib, jump pad, cow train, playground, games and plenty of places for those annual fall pictures.

The 2026 Jacksonville Pumpkin Festival begins October 2 and runs on select dates throughout October. Because the farm's maze, flowers and other attractions are crop and weather dependent, Amazing Grace recommends checking its current calendar before visiting.

Parker Flower Farms | Elkton

Fall Open Farm Days: October 17–November 22, 2026

If you're looking for something a little different from the traditional pumpkin-and-corn-maze experience, put Parker Flower Farms on your list.

This family farm opens its acres of sunflowers and wildflowers for visitors to wander, take photos and pick flowers to bring home. Their fall season also includes special experiences such as wine events and farm-to-table gatherings.

Open Farm Days are Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. until sunset, October 17 through November 22, with a couple of select October weeknights as well.

This one would be especially fun for a girls' afternoon, date day or anyone whose idea of fall photos involves fields of flowers instead of hay bales.

Congaree and Penn | Jacksonville

Pumpkin Patch: September 24–November 1, 2026

Congaree and Penn gives fall on the farm a slightly different feel.

Purchase a farm pass and you can explore the farm grounds, walk out to the pumpkin patch, see the animals and enjoy the property. Pumpkins are available to purchase separately.

On select evenings, Fall on the Farm Grounds adds live music, a food truck and the farm grounds bar, making this one just as appealing for adults looking for an outdoor fall evening as it is for families.

The pumpkin patch is open Thursdays and Fridays from 3 p.m. until dusk and Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. until dusk.

Cowart Ranch & Farms | Bunnell

Maze Dayz: October 10–November 1, 2026 | Saturdays & Sundays, 10 a.m.–7 p.m.

Heading south toward Flagler County? Cowart Ranch's Maze Dayz is another full fall-farm experience.

The farm features a five-acre walk-through maze, pumpkin patch, sunflower picking and photo areas, scenic hayrides and farm animals including chickens, goats, calves and pigs. Some of the pumpkins available at the patch are even grown right on the farm.

There are additional activities available as well, including pony rides and a mechanical bucking bull.

If your family loves the traditional combination of pumpkins + hayrides + animals + getting completely turned around in a maze, this one checks a lot of boxes.

Conner's A-Maize-Ing Acres | Hilliard

Fall season opens October 3, 2026

For those farther north, Conner's A-Maize-Ing Acres brings the farm-festival experience to Nassau County.

Opening Day includes the corn maze, decorated pumpkin patch, wagon rides, farm animals, local vendors, duck races and playground activities. Throughout October they also host special themed days and additional farm activities.

The farm opens Saturdays throughout October from 9 a.m.–9 p.m., with Friday evenings beginning October 9 and additional special dates into November.

This one is a bit of a drive from St. Augustine, but could make a fun fall day trip if you've already visited some of the farms closer to home.

Geiger Pioneer Farm | Jacksonville

Pioneers & Pumpkins Fall Festival: October 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25 & 31 | 10 a.m.–4 p.m.

This is a fun choice if you want your fall outing to come with a little old-Florida farm history.

Geiger Pioneer Farm's Pioneers & Pumpkins Fall Festival combines pumpkins and farm animals with living-history and pioneer-farm experiences. Visitors can enjoy the farm atmosphere while learning a little about Northeast Florida's agricultural past along the way.

It's another nice alternative to the larger commercial fall festivals, especially for families who enjoy historical experiences.

Diamond D Ranch | Jacksonville

Family Fun Farm Day: October 10, 2026 | 10 a.m.–2 p.m.

Diamond D Ranch offers something a little different again: a real ranch experience.

Family Fun Farm Day includes a tractor-pulled wagon ride and encounters with bison, cattle, goats and sheep. Kids can also experience activities such as pony rides, cow milking, catch-and-release fishing, nature walks and farm-themed play.

Later in the season, Diamond D also hosts its Diamonds in the Rust Fall Market November 20–22, which is a nice option if you're not quite ready for fall outings to end when Halloween is over.

EPIC Outreach Farm Sanctuary | Jacksonville

Farm Fun Fall-O-Ween: October 24, 2026 | 11 a.m.–2 p.m.

This isn't a traditional crop farm, but it's such a unique farm experience that it deserves a spot on the list.

EPIC Outreach is an education farm sanctuary home to rescued animals. During its annual Fall-O-Ween celebration, the farm opens to the community for animal meet-and-greets, a scavenger hunt, games, activities, music, vendors and opportunities to spend time with animals including pigs, horses, donkeys, chickens, dogs, cats and more.

If you have an animal lover in the family, this might be the fall event for them. Advance tickets are required for the 2026 event.

Hastings Fall Harvest Festival & Farm Tour | Hastings

November 6–7, 2026

Don't stop your fall exploring when October ends.

Hastings is one of the places where you can still see St. Johns County's agricultural roots very clearly, and the Fall Harvest Festival celebrates exactly that.

On Friday, November 6, the Harvest Trail Farm Tour takes visitors to four working commercial farms: Barnes Farms, Parker Flower Farms, Tater Farms and Blue Sky Farms. You'll meet local growers, see where food is grown and learn more about the area's agricultural history. Transportation and lunch are included, and advance reservations are required.

Then on Saturday, downtown Hastings hosts a free Fall Harvest Festival with local vendors, food, live music, antique tractors and family activities.

For anyone who has ever driven through Hastings and wondered what's growing in all those fields, this is a really cool opportunity to see behind the scenes.

PUMPKIN PATCHES & LOCAL FALL STOPS

Not every fall outing has to take an entire afternoon. If your main goal is picking out pumpkins, snapping a few fall pictures or squeezing in a seasonal stop close to home, there are several more options around St. Johns County and Palm Coast.

First United Methodist Church | Downtown St. Augustine

October 8 until pumpkins are gone | Daily, 11 a.m.–7 p.m.

You'll find this longtime pumpkin patch at 118 King Street near downtown St. Augustine. Pumpkins come in a variety of sizes and price points, making it an easy stop before or after spending time downtown.

Shores United Methodist Church | St. Augustine Shores

Pumpkin Patch: October 12–31

Fall Festival: October 17 | 11 a.m.–2 p.m.

The Shores UMC pumpkin patch is open weekdays from 2–6 p.m., Saturdays from 11 a.m.–6 p.m. and Sundays from noon–6 p.m.

Their free Fall Festival on October 17 adds a petting zoo, hayride, pumpkin patch, photo opportunities, bounce house, games, prizes, food and drinks.

Happy Haunts | Ponte Vedra

October 3–31, 2026

Located at 895 Palm Valley Road, Happy Haunts brings a festive pumpkin patch and seasonal displays to the St. Francis in-the-Field property in Palm Valley.

In addition to choosing pumpkins and taking fall photos, Happy Haunts hosts special activities throughout October, making this one especially convenient for families around Ponte Vedra, Nocatee and northern St. Johns County.

River of Life United Methodist Church | St. Johns

September 28–October 31, 2026

Another good northern St. Johns County option is River of Life's annual pumpkin patch at 2600 Race Track Road.

Visitors can choose from pumpkins and gourds and enjoy an easy seasonal stop without committing to a full farm-festival day.

European Village | Palm Coast

5th Annual Pop-Up Pumpkin Patch: October 17, 2026 | 4–8 p.m.

European Village's Pop-Up Pumpkin Patch gives Flagler County another fall option, especially if you like combining seasonal fun with restaurants, shops and an evening out.

It's less “day at the farm” and more “fall evening out,” which is exactly why I like including it in the mix. Not every pumpkin outing needs muddy shoes.

ONE MORE TO WATCH

Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Ponte Vedra Beach is known locally for its annual pumpkin patch at 276 N. Roscoe Boulevard. Their 2026 dates had not yet been announced when this guide was updated, so keep this one on your radar if you're in Ponte Vedra Beach or Nocatee.

FALL IN NORTHEAST FLORIDA

One of the things I love about living in Northeast Florida is how many completely different experiences are within an easy drive.

You can spend one weekend wandering through a nine-acre maze in Elkton, another picking flowers on a farm, another visiting rescued animals in Jacksonville and another learning how food is grown just down the road in Hastings.

We may not have the same fall foliage I grew up with farther north, but we've definitely figured out how to make fall our own.

So grab the family, pick a farm, find a pumpkin and maybe bring the sunscreen too. This is Florida, after all.
